Reader's Club

Are you a constant reader?

If you’ve answered yes to that question, you should think about joining our Reader’s Club. Because as a Reader’s Club member the books you buy earn you points towards your next purchase.

You’ll also receive our quarterly newsletter, containing news and information about new releases and the world of books, as well as invitations to special author events. In addition we’ll send you advance notice of our annual sale, and information about special offers that will be exclusive to Reader’s Club members.

You can also present your Reader’s Club membership card at Coffee Club in Park Road (right next to the bookshop), and pay just $1 for your cup of coffee.

Here’s how it works. When you join, we’ll give you a membership number. From then on, whenever you make a purchase instore at Coaldrake’s, we’ll record the dollar value of the sale against your membership number. For every $100 that you spend, we’ll issue you with a $5 bonus voucher, which you can put towards future purchases. All you have to do is tell us at the time of purchase that you are a Reader’s Club member. Your vouchers will be kept here at the shop, ready for you to use at any time.

Every instore purchase you make (excluding books on sale, books that are already discounted, and books purchased with gift vouchers), no matter how small, counts towards your next bonus. Please note: because all your online purchases are discounted by 10%, they do not earn you Reader’s Club points.

Membership is free and is valid for 2 years. Provided you spend $300 or more during that time, your membership will be automatically renewed. If you’d like to join please fill in the form below and then click on the submit button. We’ll register your membership and send you your membership card.
